Especially in Europe, the brand is associated with the biggest soccer leagues,
including the UEFA Champions League.
For the first time ever, Heineken crossed the Atlantic to sponsor soccer in the U.S.
So when we were tasked to create its launching campaign, we saw an opportunity.
It was 2016 and xenophobic rhetoric was echoing around the country.
So we decided to tell more than the story of a foreign beer brand supporting a foreign sport in this country.
We told the story of every foreigner who once came to this country full of dreams.
The story of all Americans.
After all, this is a nation of immigrants.
