Alex Abrantes is a New York-based creative leader who hates to talk about himself in the third person.

I consider myself to be a lucky guy. In over 20 years of working in ad agencies, I’ve had the privilege of participating in some dream projects for incredible brands.

I’m proud to have helped FCB to become North America Network Of The Year in Cannes for 6 years in a row.
And FCB NY to become back-to-back #1 Agency In The World at the OneShow and ADC in 2024 and 2023, Agency of The Year at the Clios for 2 consecutive years,
WARC’s #1 Most Effective Creative Agency of 2023 and Craft Agency of The Year at the 2024 Cannes Lions.


I also helped create a campaign that led to Spotify Adverting best year in history.

I was part of the team that put John McEnroe to play against himself on the first real vs virtual tennis match ever.

I worked on global campaigns for mike’s Hard Lemonade (and I got to meet an internet meme guy in real life).

I had the chance to write the first-ever Super Bowl commercial for Walmart.

I had the honor of helping Coordown promote inclusive education for kids with Down Syndrome.

And, in 2023, I was humbled to lead a project that allowed a blind person to call a basketball game live on TV.

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I’ve been in the US since 2014.
I’m fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
And I can count to 5 in Japanese.
